Our Production & Assembly Facility handles an extremely diverse array of manufacturing projects. The projects are characterized as labor-intensive, fast turnaround jobs and those particularly suited to assembly line fabrication. The well-equiped machine shop, maintained in our plant, supports all our divisions. The Production & Assembly Facility is geared to be your manufacturing department, thus eliminating the burden of an under-utilized facility and staff. When our customers allow HMI to be their manufacturing department, it allows them to place their emphasis on engineering and marketing while a quality product is produced on schedule.

Custom Fabrication

Our varied plants produce a wide range of products for domestic and foreign markets. A wide variety of state-of-the-art equipment such as Laser Cutters, CNC Machine Shop, Robotic Welders, CAD-CAM Engineering, Material Nesting, Automatic Powder Coat paint systems allows production of fabricated high volume parts and / or efficiencies of smaller volumes.

Hogan Mfg., Inc. operates as a steel manufacturing fabricator in the United States. Its products include general plate weldments, alloy specialties, shop tanks, compaction wheels for landfills, mechanical equipment, ductwork, cylindrical plate work, industrial buildings and municipal buses, transit lifts, sandbagging equipment, waste separation and containment equipment, accessibility equipment, wheelchair lifts for the heavy duty transportation industry, and vertical platform lifts for commercial applications. The company’s penstocks, draft tubes, spiral cases, scrubbers, rectangular and circular duct work, vessels, fan housings, off-road earthmoving equipment, and fabricated plate objects.

Hogan Mfg., Inc. (originally California Blowpipe and Steel Company) was founded in 1944 by Walter F. Hogan, Sr. and four partners as a sheet metal shop. The original name was changed to the present, Hogan Mfg., Inc., in the early 1970′s with management remaining in the Hogan family since inception.

The company has grown from its first 5 employees and $150 thousand annual sales to the level of approximately 300 employees and sales in excess of $50 million.

Our LIFT-U® division has over 40,000 lifts manufactured and installed in more than 500 cities throughout the United States and Canada. LIFT-U® has established a reputation as the most reliable heavy-duty transit lift in the industry. As of March 2005, LIFT-U® now offers vertical platform lifts for the commercial applications for stages, courtrooms – wherever universal access is required.
