Our Philosophy

The majority of business plans provide enormous capital outlay for establishing manufacturing capabilities to bring one's product to market. Why risk everything when HMI can provide design, manufacturing and marketing capabilities essential in the successfull launch of your fledgling product.

Types of Investments

Active Involvement
For scientists, engineers, and inventors with good ideas who have not yet established businesses, or whose Companies are in the very early stage, HMI will form a partnership. HMI will oversee business development, including providing capital, overseeing final design and manufacturing, and marketing and sales promotion.

Licensing Technology
HMI will license technology from independent inventors and mange all aspects of the company, including operations. The technology or product, typically industrial or related to the transportation industry, must be proprietary, with the potential for high margins and significant growth in the marketplace. HMI will control the company and have a majority ownership position while the inventor will receive ongoing royalties.

Investment Criteria

In each transaction, Hogan Mfg., Inc. will invest in partner companies or individuals that have the following characteristics:

• Large Market Potential
• Partner companies or individuals should have products that are capable of being sold into a large market with significant growth potential.
• Unique or Proprietary Products Partner companies or individuals should have unique and proprietary products or manufacturing processes that have a competitive advantage in the appropriate marketplace. Typically they must be novel ideas or better, faster and cheaper alternatives than those products that are currently available in the market. Core technologies are preferred.
